Health Disclaimer — Pulsehaven
Pulsehaven is a wellness and informational product. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, screen for, monitor, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Not clinically validated
The App's heart-rate and HRV estimates are not clinically validated and have not been reviewed, cleared, or approved as a medical device by any regulatory authority (including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration). The App does not create a doctor–patient relationship and does not provide medical advice.
What Pulsehaven does and does not measure
- Heart rate and HRV readings are estimates derived from a phone-camera signal and can be affected by lighting, movement, finger placement, skin, device model, and other factors. They are not equivalent to a clinical electrocardiogram (ECG) or a regulated medical monitor.
- Pulsehaven does not measure or estimate blood pressure, blood oxygen (SpO₂), body temperature, ECG, or arrhythmia, and does not perform continuous or real-time health monitoring.
- Readings are for general wellness awareness only. Do not use them to make medical decisions, to start or stop any treatment or medication, or in place of professional medical advice.
When to seek care
If you have or suspect a heart condition or any medical concern, are pregnant, are taking medication, or experience symptoms such as chest pain, palpitations, fainting or light-headedness, or shortness of breath, consult a qualified healthcare professional before relying on the App. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. Do not use the App while operating a vehicle or machinery.
By using Pulsehaven you acknowledge and accept this disclaimer. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
